Folklore materials are common among us as compared with other historical material, because folklore materials are close to our daily life and some of them have not changed their form even today. You have probably looked at some materials in your home or the home of your grandparents. Folklore materials are tools and furniture that make our life convenient and rich, and inform us about various lifestyles of times gone by. Most of the collections in the museum were donated by the local people of Tsuruga.
